About AiCert°
What is AiCert°?
AiCert° is an app for UK electricians that combines electrical certificates (EICR, EIC and Minor Works) with customers, jobs, quotes, invoices and payments in one place.
Which certificates can I create?
You can create Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR), Electrical Installation Certificates (EIC) and Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificates, following BS 7671 workflows.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. AiCert° works on iOS, Android and in a web browser, so you can fill in certificates on site and finish them in the office.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Certificates, photos and notes save on your device and sync automatically once you are back online.
Is the AI allowed to sign my certificates?
No. AI helps draft observations and fill in details from your notes and photos, but you review, verify and sign every certificate yourself.
Can I send certificates to customers?
Yes. Once signed, you can send the PDF certificate straight to your customer and keep a copy stored securely against the job.
Is my data secure?
Your data is stored in secure cloud storage and handled under UK GDPR. See our Data Retention & Security Policy for details.
How much does a certificate cost?
Every certificate you issue costs £1 — EICR, EIC or Minor Works. You are only charged when you sign and issue a certificate, not for drafts.
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes. The Free plan costs £0 a month and includes the basic CRM, basic invoicing and basic automations for one user. You only pay £1 when you issue a certificate.
EICR reports
Can I complete an EICR on my phone?
Yes. You can record the supply characteristics, circuit schedule, test results and observations on your phone, then review and sign the report on site or later in the office.
Does the app support C1, C2, C3 and FI codes?
Yes. Each observation can be coded C1, C2, C3 or FI, and the overall assessment is shown clearly on the report.
How much does an EICR cost in AiCert°?
Issuing an EICR costs £1. Drafts are free, and there is no monthly subscription on the Free plan.
Can I add photos to observations?
Yes. Attach photos to observations as you go so the evidence stays with the report and the job.

Electrical Installation Certificates
What is an Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC)?
An EIC confirms that new electrical installation work — such as a new circuit, rewire or consumer unit change — has been designed, constructed, inspected and tested to BS 7671.
Can one person sign all three EIC sections?
Yes. If you were responsible for design, construction and inspection and testing, you can sign all three declarations. If different people were involved, each can sign their own section.
How much does an EIC cost in AiCert°?
Issuing an EIC costs £1. You can save and edit drafts for free before you sign.
Can I reuse details from a previous job?
Yes. Customer and property details come straight from the job, so you do not have to type the same information twice.

Minor Works certificates
When do I need a Minor Works certificate?
A Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate is used for small additions or alterations that do not include a new circuit — for example adding a socket or light to an existing circuit.
How long does a Minor Works certificate take in the app?
Most Minor Works certificates take a few minutes: describe the work, confirm the circuit details, enter your test results, then sign and send.
How much does a Minor Works certificate cost?
Issuing a Minor Works certificate costs £1, the same as every other certificate in AiCert°.
Can I invoice the job straight after?
Yes. The certificate is linked to the job, so you can raise the invoice and take payment from the same place (invoices are included on Pro and Premium).
